Free dining question

I hope someone can answer this.
I am going to the world from 10\29 through 11\6, just passed the free dining cutoff. If I include 10\28 I will get the free dining for the whole week, however my flight is already booked and I cannot change it. The question is can I book the 28th and not check in till the 29th and still get the free dining? I realize I will be paying for a day I am not there.

I think you can check in online, but I'm not sure how it works.

If you do not show up I do believe you will be a no show for your reservation. Have you checked with your airline to see how much it would cost to change the reservation by a day?

Can any one else confirm this? Last year my reservation was supposed to start on a Friday night, but we missed our connecting flight. I called the All Star where we were staying and told them what happened. The next day when we checked in we didnt get refunded Friday, but we still had our unused meals to use. I realize that was not intentional on my part, and I am intentionaly not showing up this year, but why would it be any different?:shrug:

Perhaps because you called to let them know you would be late.
