Free Dining PIN thru December

My wife got a pin code yesterday for a free dining offer for most dates through the end of the year (or most of December) if booked by August 2nd. It seems to follow the same blackout dates that have been out there for years (a 10-14 day stretch in both Oct and Nov). Let the speculation begin as to if it's back.....

What sucks is that this doesn't benefit me...lol My wife, her sister, her Mom and her Mom's best friend are going in late October so for them it works great. I got to go in Feb and had to postpone our family October trip to Feb '14 due to me getting my gall bladder removed otherwise I would have been the beneficiary too.

Someone else posted about the same PIN yesterday. It will be interesting to see how many others get this code. If its the difference between being able to visit or not, then I hope all those who are hoping for that magic mail get it!!!! Happy for you!

To be honest, I think it's a test by Disney to see if the Free Dining offer is still a viable one by almost using a "test group" (smart marketing by them). If they see it as an option that still works, they will continue it into the new year.

I would love to get this PIN! We're trying to take our cousin on her first trip in November and the flight prices are outrageous right now!! This would be perfect for us to save a little money!

I just got the PIN last night via e-mail. My wife, 2 kids, my parents and I last went in February 2012 on a Free Dining Plan trip. For us, it's a substantial savings and makes the difference for whether or not we can go. So, now we are definitely looking to make a trip!

This is exactly what I'm waiting for, I really hope I get one. Although, I did get this last year so I dont know if that makes me more or less likely to get one this year.

Anyway, this makes me hopeful that the offer t the general public will be extended.

And that's exactly why I moved our 4-12th trip back to September. I knew that the cutoff would be right before we arrived. I think they are seeing how many of these codes are used and if it's not that many they will release it to the general public.

Bummer. Doesn't do me any good with October 8 arrival even if it is released to the public. I was there almost the same week, a few days later, 2 years ago and got free dining then! :confused:
