FRee Dining Offer in 2012??

We visit every August and for the past 3 years have gotten Free Dining starting the week we go (usually 3rd week). Is there going to be a Free Dining offer this year? I have not seen ANY offered as of yet and last year I was booked by now WITH the free dining. If anyone has any info, please let me know! Thanks:shrug:

When I was there in August, the bounce-back offers in the rooms only covered dates in 2011. When I went back in October they were offering free dining as a bounce-back offer for 8/17-9/27/2012 at select Moderates and 8/19-9/27/2012 at DAKL and DWL only.

So, it's being offered. :shrug:

General Public offers for Free Dining don't normally come out until mid-April for mid-August thro October.

It also depends on whether they feel they have to sell more rooms. Probably because it is the height of hurricane season but it's a marketing tool not a giveaway so we'll have to wait a couple of months to see.

we are thinking of renting points at a dvc studio when we go in the fall. if they offer free dining for the time we will be there are you eligible if you are staying at a dvc? We have never done this before so we don't know much about renting dvc points etc. thanks

No. DVC is eligible for the dining plan, but you would have to pay for it. DVC is a discount in and of itself, so they do not get to participate in promotions like free dining as well.
