Hello everyone! Just wondering, does anybody have any idea if and when Disney will announce Free Dining for this fall? I've been hearing a few swirling rumors that it may get announced on Thursday, but I'm also hearing rumors that it may not even get announced at all!:( We are currently planning a trip for September, and we are relying on Disney to announce Free Dining so we can go through with this trip, but are not sure if they will or not. Do you guys have any ideas, or have you heard anything about it getting announced? Thanks!

First I am wondering the same thing. We have our trip booked but are holding off on booking flights in case we need to adjust the days a litte. Second could you link a source please? Third I have a Chase Disney card what does that do for you in regards to this?

That plan gets used for moderate and deluxe hotels. If your staying value, you get the quick service plan. You can however pay the difference and get the regular dining plan if u stay at value. But doin that usually puts you at a price pretty close to moderate hotel prices anyway...

If you are a Disney Visa card member, you will receive an email before the general public giving you first crack at whatever the promotion ends up being. Then it opens up a few days later to the general public. Historically, the fall deals are announced the first week of May. It has been that time frame for the last two years..maybe three.

I have seen it be the last week in August through the end of September. Then it ends. I do remember years back a December free dining was announced and just so happened we were going. But I haven't seen a December one in years.

If you're planning on going the 1st couple of weeks in December they may be blacked out. We went the 1st week of Dec. 13' & it was blacked out but, we used a free dining pin instead.

Discounts for Late Sept thru December (Room Only and/or Free Dinning) won't be available until early August based on last year's discount release schedule.

Early May will only offer a discount (typically Free Dinning and Room) for dates within Late August to Late September. Those discounts typically have a span of 3 months to book... And once they end, the next discount time frame and promotions are released... Which in this case... Would be Late Sept to Dec.

Just didn't want there to be confusion or expectation of (later) Fall dates being released early May.

Last year we did receive a Free Dinning pin in early summer for Fall dates... That was identical to the Free Dinning promotion that was offered to the public a month or so later.
