Hopefully someone didn't already bring this up, but if so please enlighten me..

with the free dining plan just being announced, do you think this is a sign of the new FLE (minus the snow white rollercoaster)being opened in november. im planning my vacation for November, but dont want to spend the money now to have to go back in january when its all deffinitly going to be opened. understand?

I don't think there is any connection between the two. There has been free dining in Nov/Dec for the past few years. Not saying parts of FLE won't be open yet, but I wouldn't look at free dining as being an indicator.

ive been going every november for the past 10 years so i kinda figured the free dining would be happening again, but call me crazy id be the person to pass up the free dining now and pay for it in early 2013 just to see the expansion:p i just wish disney could be more specific with the dates, totally understandable why they cant but its so frustrating grr

If your main reason for going is to see the FLE, then I would wait until an official announcement of opening instead of going on anything that you may hear online.

I'd wait, instead of gambling that it MAY be open ... unless you can afford to go twice.

lol i wish i could, i probably wouldnt be able to go until NEXT november again. in my opinion its one of the best times to go, we've all been waiting a very long time for this expansion. id hate to miss it and have to wait another year

Interestingly enough, the Washington DC local station Fox 5 had a segment on the expansion of the new FL!:D No mention as to exact dates of course, and no focus on the BOG restaurant!:( But it seems promising that a major city's network would air such a segment! The news anchor said that now she knows where her next vacation will be!:D

The Free Dining in late fall/winter seems more restricted than ever to me - only 4 arrival dates in December, seemingly fewer locations, and a minimum 6 night stay (I thought previously it had been 5.) I was thinking perhaps the promotion is more limited BECAUSE of the FLE... that is, they don't need to boost numbers via free dining as much as in past years.

the only thing i know is... november 9-15 is usually always free dining. which they have again this year. i only know this because im from jersey and that week is considered "jersey week" and all of our school systems have off that week for teacher conventions and plus ive been going that time of year every single year lol but all the other dates did seem limited
