"Free Culinary Tour" is used real loosely here, IMO, especially when you compare it to the realy tours that are offere at WDW. It's just a fancy way of saying "Restaurant Advertisement". My wife and I did it a couple of years ago while staying at AKL. You don't really see the kitchens or anything like that. They walk you through the buffet at Boma (we got a taste of a soup and a Zebra Dome) and then a chef discusses the menu at Jiko and they put out a couple of the bread and spreads samplings to try. It's something to do if you are staying at AKL and happen to be at the resort at the right time, but not worth going out of your way for.
