FP for 2-day MK stay

That 60 day milestone is coming up soon.... I can't wait to go, but I'm kind of dreading the process of booking FP+... :/

It's just my dad and I this time, so I'm in charge of the planning. The main thing I'm worried about is booking MK Fastpasses. We're going for two days, one of them with morning EMH.

I'm thinking of getting ETWB around lunch time, Splash Mountain in the afternoon for the first day.
The second day (with EMH) I'll be trying to get SDMT, Anna & Elsa, and Peter Pan's Flight.

So how should I use that third Fastpass on my first day? Is it worth getting a parade or firework viewing FP? I'll be there late April, and I don't know what the construction will be like then. But I have heard mixed opinions about the MSEP FP, as to whether it gives a good viewing spot for the fireworks after it...

I definitely wouldn't get it for a parade or fireworks. You still have to "compete" for spots even within the preferred viewing area so you don't save much time.

I'd suggest Big Thunder or Space.

EDA: I notice that you said "trying to get"... don't worry about that. You shouldn't have any trouble getting what you want if you book on the first day of availability. No need to stay up until midnight or anything like that. FP+ is nowhere near the madness that dining can be at times. There's way more ride capacity than restaurant capacity.

Thanks for the advice Although my dad isn't keen on rollercoasters and doesn't trust my judgement on whether he'll enjoy it since my sister and I conned him into riding Expedition Everest... I'm thinking maybe Pirates since it's become rather slow loading recently.

In which case, what would be the best other FP to book (apart from the other two mountains)?

I would suggest either The Haunted Mansion or Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin (who can resist competing against their group and defeating Zurg?!).

I wouldn't waste a FP on a parade or fireworks. Plus, if you save your third one until late in the day, you won't be able to get a fourth one.

I'd rather have a FP in the mid afternoon to guarantee that I will be able to skip the lines during the busiest hours of the day than take a chance that there will be something worthwhile left for a 4th FP.
