Anyone who is planning to attend this year's Star Wars Weekends may be interested to know that all of the events have been added to FP+ (except for autographs). They count as Tier 1 selections. As a side note, this has opened up availability for Toy Story on these days as people switch their Tier 1 FP selections.

That's awesome!

Are all of the things you are referring to only available during the actual SWW, or are some of them going on all week long? I know the SW dining is going on all week during the event, so I wasn't sure what else would be different.

These shows and activities are exclusive to the Star Wars Weekend event unlike the character dining.

I noticed that too. My FP+ currently are Star Tours, Toy Story, and Tower of Terror in that order. Should I switch Toy Story to either James Arnold Taylor (7:05 - 7:20 pm) or Ray Parks (4:50 - 5:05 pm)?

Not a huge SW guy myself (Deep Space Nine baby!) but Disney is going to make a killing with the SW brand. What a great buy for them.

We won't be doing any of the event shows. My wife and kids couldn't be any less interested in Star Wars. In fact, I almost changed our plans to avoid the SWW entirely. But I am a SW fan and I figured I could still enjoy the atmosphere even if we skip most of the scheduled events. If I suggested giving up our TSM FPs for a presentation on SW, I would have a revolt on my hands.

But for people who are planning to attend, I imagine this is a good thing.

For all those that are interested....Autographs will still be done the old fashioned way as they have been done in the past. FP+ will be utilized for the shows in Premiere Theater.

Thanks for sharing the information. My husband is the big SW fan, although I enjoy the films. I would be in your boat if I thought of giving up TSMM for a presentation. lol

Does this include FP+ for the fireworks as well ? I can't seem to find info on that. Called WDW a couple of times & received different answers !

I do not believe that there are FPs for the Star Wars fireworks. Disney sold reserved viewing for them instead.
