FP+ and Meet & Greets

Does anyone know if an adult without a FP+ is allowed to accompany a child with a FP+ on line for a meet & greet? The adult would not expect or want to get autographs or photos. This would only be done if a family was only able to get a single FP+ for the M&G for a child who was desparate to meet the character. (Obviously, if they could get FP+s for the adult too, they would.)

Good question. I would hope so but I can see people taking advantage of it as well. But a single parent should be allowed to for certain.

I have heard this would not be allowed. But not from anyone I would consider an authority. I would suggest planning for the worst (not being allowed) and hoping for the best.

That's the problem. The minute they allow this, they are inviting abuse.

The fast pass system should not allow a minor a fast pass without an adult. I'm surprised Disney hasn't figured this out yet.

No, they will not allow, I have seen them turn people away. If your band doesn't turn it green then you won't be let in.

Thanks for your feedback everyone. I can easily see how allowing this could be abused, but then again, I wonder how they could allow a child only to get a FP+ and then expect the child to remain on line alone.
