Fourth of July

I know that the 4th is super busy but we are going to the parks (we are ready for the crowds!) and are super excited to see the fireworks at Magic Kingdom. We are staying at the Beach Club - how early do you think we need to go to MK to make sure we get in? Do the parks close for everyone or does the capacity usually still allow the on-site resort guests to enter? What are your thoughts? THANKS!

There are different phases of closing the parks, and I don't know the specifics, but it's my understanding that resort guests not guarenteed in, but are one of the last groups to be blocked out.

I'd get there about 1 hour before the sceduled opening. The 4th is the busiest single day of the year for the Magic Kingdom, but the fireworks are completely worth it!

Last year, we had to close MK at 11 AM because it was over max. capacity. People literally came when it first opened in the morning and stayed all day just to see the 4th of July fireworks.
