Four Seasons Orlando

Does anyone have an update on how construction is going over at FS? No further mentioning on DPB or the Four Seasons website other than the planned 2014 opening. Thanks!

They've gone vertical and they are starting to put walls up thats it.

- Largest Four Seasons resort with 434 rooms
- Three restaurants (poolside, all-day mediterranean, rooftop steakhouse with MK views)

Other than the fact the fact it had ruined the fort's secluded feel with bright lights everywhere I couldn't careless. Product of modern day TDO.

I was never really against this project, but it was a bit shocking to see it when taking the resort monorail to MK. I did a double take and had to remind myself what it was. I didn't really expect to see it from there. I still don't have a big problem with it, especially considering all of the construction around SSL in the past few years anyway. The feel has certainly changed, but there's no going back now so I won't waste my time worrying about it!

I wish they would have kept the property and expanded on the Fort Wilderness theme. It would have been cool to have a Western main street and revive the plan to have a steam train to connect the Main Street shops, The Campground, Wilderness Lodge to the Magic Kingdom by train.
