Or so we are told and perhaps would like to believe. There is not a single thing about Epcot that is in anyway even slightly connected with the actual "center of the entire Florida Project other then the use of the name for a theme park. The Florida Project was to create and build an actual working city. A city that, as Walt said, was built around the most up to day technology of whatever time that we were currently in. You cannot build a working world of the future. Once built and operating it is then, at that point, the now! Mostly awaiting the future for it to change.

I can understand, although I don't agree with, the thoughts of Starbucks on MSUSA. However, the inclusion of it in Epcot is as natural as breathing oxygen. It is on the edge of the future which describes Epcot completely.  Someday in the future there might be a Starbucks II (by some other name) that will be more modern, more up to date and it will replace Starbucks I. Until then it is what it is. A place to get a beverage, nothing more, nothing less.
