Forum homescreen Facebook problem.

funny thing is that I don't use Facebook to log on to this website, yet I was still getting the error... wth?

As a Facebook dummy, tell me how to do this please.

1) click the gear icon in the top right.
2) click 'Privacy Settings'
3) click 'Apps' in the left hand column
4) click 'Edit' next to the first option in the list
5) select this to 'off' but now comments and logins will not work on external sites. Neither will facebook games.

I think it had to do with the fact that the code this forum uses includes FB stuff, and it was that link with FB that was causing a problem on the FB end. Now that is pure speculation from someone that is ignunt of programming....
