There is a pool at Ft. Wilderness--just not much of one.

There is no themeing--it might as well be a pool at the Motel 6.

The pool is long overdue for a makeover.

actually there are 2 pools, I think one near the rear near the prefered sites (which I think that picture is), and one near the general store near pioneer hall. I think the pools are great and don't need to be changed. we had many a good time on those pools. no they are not very themed, but for a middle of a campground they don't need to be.

We did see an alligator the last time we were there in 4/01, down where the canal reaches the lake. We reported it to security, and they hightailed it down there. To do what, I don't know. Even if they do allow swimming in the lake, I don't think I want to take my chances. Also, as far as the pools are concerned, they're a far cry from the other resorts not to mention crowded. I know we're paying $77 [plus tax] a night, just for our sites this march, and I know the cabins are 3 or 4 times more than that. Why can't we have pools as nice as the other resorts??? Thankyou
