Take a Haunted Halloween Hayride this month

Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground is putting a spooky spin on its evening hayrides by hosting Haunted Halloween Hayrides on Oct. 18, 19, 25, 26 and 28-31.

Unlike the peaceful hayrides that take guests through the dark woods around the resort nightly, the haunted hayrides will feature interactive spooks and surprises along the trail.

The 20-minute rides depart every 30 minutes from Pioneer Hall. On Oct. 18 and 19, the first wagon leaves at 7:30 p.m., and the last wagon leaves at 10 p.m. On Oct. 25 and 26, the first wagon leaves at 7 p.m., and the last wagon leaves at 10 p.m. From Oct. 28-31, the first wagon leaves at 6:30 p.m., and the last wagon leaves at 10 p.m.

Ticket sales begin one hour prior to the first ride, and tickets must be purchased at the departure location next to Pioneer Hall. Tickets cost $8 a person. Children ages two and under ride free.

Rides may be cancelled due to inclement weather.

Thank you for posting this orlpassholder. It looks very interesting. I think it would be a lot of fun to do and plus $8.00 isn't bad at all! Is this the first year they are doing it?

To my knowledge this is new to Fort Wilderness. I have asked my friend if this is new or not, as soon as I know more I will post here
