fort wilderness cabin question

Does anyone know what the pool area is like at Fort Wilderness?

Rather uninspiring, I am afraid to report.

It desperately needs a make-over. No slides, no themeing, not much more than a cement rectangle.

But, it is full of water, which will feel great on a hot Florida day.

I would just pool hop at this point. I know it is "illegal" but that pool stinks. Take the boat to the Wilderness Lodge and swim there.

I have a theory about the FW pools, "the trash," the hicks, stay at FW, and they don't pay an awful lot a night, so why the hell do they deserve good pools with slides and such, they don't!!!!!

I had to explain this whole thing to my mother this past trip........so she fires back, "well they should have a slide at the Cabins pool area"........touchee, yes the should........

Don't get me wrong, I am "the trash" that stays at FW and I know why they don't have good pools!!!

And the best thing to do has already been mentioned by DisneyInsider, pool hop, you get to stay in WDW for low money, so take advantage of other resort's pools.
