I worked in Monorail starting in 1980. I have a lot of fond memories of working at WDW. Several people I worked with, girls that I dated that worked at the park also, swimming in seven seas lagoon after work in the evenings, and watching fireworks over the park every night. I remember long hot days sweating every minute with the heat and the daily afternoon rain showers. There was no Floridian back then, but working at the contemporary was nice because you were inside with air-conditioning.
