Force Ghosts in Star Wars Episode VII

Lately rumors have begun to circulate that the Emperor and Obi-Wan will be returning in Episode VII in some capacity (via Latino Post). I genuinely hope Sidious doesn't return (Sith don't have Force Ghosts), while Ben Kenobi would be acceptable if an aged Ewan McGregor can pull off a Guinness-worthy performance. What are your thoughts?

There's talk also that Vader will be featured in these movies as well. I can only figure that the kid of Han and Leia's that goes bad will resurrect the costume to evoke fear. On one hand it sounds totally lame; on the other, if done right, it could be terrifying and incredibly cool.

As for the ghosts, it just depends on how they're used. Luke talked to Obi Wan, so why would it stop just because the rebels took control back of the Republic? Qui Gonn could be heard in Revenge Of The Sith, too. hopefully, it'll be done very minimally and tastefully.

Sith don't have Force Ghosts
I'm not trying to correct you, I'm hardly an expert on Star Wars, more of a causal fan... but the Sith do have force ghosts just a little different than the Jedi ones. All according to the expanded universe but the Sith Lords on Korriban required anchors (their tombs) to survive. And the Emperor was powerful enough to do it with out an anchor in Dark Empire as well.

Now, as for how they handle in in Ep VII, we'll see. :)

Thanks. I'm not that deep into the EU so I only based that statement on an article I read. Once again thanks. :)

Also, despite evidence to the contrary, I'm not at all excited about the new Star Wars. JJ Abrams directing makes me feel a bit better since Trek was great, but that's just it. Trek was great and I'd rather he focus his energies on putting out an additional one of those (also I'm a life-long Trekker. I don't know if I quite go into the Trekkie realm, but pretty close). I love Star Wars, but, meh.

Well force ghosts don't bother me. I liked it in 5 and 6 so I see no reason it wouldn't work in 7. I just wish Disney would stop sitting on their hands and give us some official information.
