For those worried about May Crowds

Touring plans normally projects May as much lighter, so it's possible that this other site was using past projections to set up their schedule for the year. Almost every guide book & site recommends May for lighter crowds. I think it's just this particular May that is supposedly going to be higher because of the 4/3 deal.

I hope this other site is correct though! I'll be there in 2 weeks, so I too am worried about 8's & 9's. Guess we'll find out soon enough :) Thanks for posting the link!

That would be great for us if that site is correct on the May crowd levels, however, it shows Memorial Day weekend and the first two weeks of June with low crowd levels. I just don't see that happening.

I noticed that too....on the page with the chart it lists relatively low crowds for Memorial Day and Junes...but on the ranking of weeks to go it list Memorial Day as bad and says June and July have "massive crowd".

It also says on the "Chart" the data comes from "analysis of the current Disney Calendar" whatever that means...

All I know is I'm drinking a beer at the Biergarten on Friday at around 6:30...massive crowds or not...:)

This weekend and the first of next week ought to be the test of just how accurate Touringplan's may doom and gloom predictions might be - today is the last day they have predicted as sub 8-9 for the forseeable future.

I know some of you like me are a little worried about the touringplans.com projections for crowds in early May, nothing but 8's and 9's.

However I did find another site which forecasts much lighter crowds...
http://yourfirstvisit.net/planning-...s-to-visit-walt-disney-world-ranked-in-order/

What I find most interesting is that they say they use touringplans.com as one source for their projections....

P.s. sorry if the link doesn't work...

Touring Plans updates continuously, and I do not know if that website does. I believe the original touring plans ranking placed those weeks in the 5-7 range, and have beefed them up since. Therefore, if this website did base some of their projections on Touring Plans, it may have used "old" data.

I would plan for the worst, and hope for the best.
