Exactly. Tom Hiddleston took out personal time to show up for his fans. He was generous and awesome enough to show up in full costume, AND he was in character the entire time.

People get excited for things on television, whether it's real or fake. I don't see the difference.

I just don't get the hype either. Loki has made random appearances like this before. That time when Tom Hiddleston made an appearance on SNL, and he was dressed as a shirtless Loki doing some sort of dance in Times Square. The girls loved it, but I thought it was a pretty dumb skit.
