After doing lots of research and only having one day of our trip at AK, here was our experience in Pandora. Certainly not writing this to brag or claim this is possible every day (we had a lot of luck), but writing it to perhaps ease some worries for anyone worried about their trip from the ‘horror stories’ floating around the internet about the impossibility to experience this land.
Hopefully this is encouraging. We were able to ride 6 Pandora rides with only one fast pass, and would be confident that it’s certainly possible to ride each of these in one day with some planning if the Park was more crowded.
- We took a Lyft to AK at 6:30 and we’re there by 6:50, and we’re second in line at bag check.
- EMH were from 8am to 9am on this Wednesday. Park hours were 9am to 8pm.
- They started letting people into the park earlier than 8 (about 7:30am).
- We had a fast pass for FoP that we got 60 days out for 9:10 to 10:10.
- We entered Pandora at 7:35, and headed straight to NRJ and ride it with no wait. We then got back in line and rode it again with no wait. By now it was 7:50.
- We then got into the standby line for FoP which wrapped all the way back to Africa and was an estimated 90 Minute wait. This was accurate and we got off the ride at 9:50.
- We then used our FP for FoP for a second ride at 10.
- We then did the rest of AK. I believe the longest wait that FoP hit at midday was 3 hours.
- After the 6:30pm RoL, we did the standby for NRJ and we’re out by 7:40pm.
- We then got in the standby line for FoP and rode a third and final time.
