I have a question about the special events that occur during Food & Wine Festival.
In the last 5 years our little family (me, DH, and DD-age 7) have been to the World on 8 trips-3 of those were Octobers. We all still love it, but if we can magically swing another trip this October I wanted to interject a couple of new things. Of course we'll ride our favs and eat at some of our favs but for possible new things I've come up with:
New Resort-possibly WL or Poly (we're usually POFQ-also stayed at POP, AKL, OKW, and CBR)
New Restaurants-Narcoossee's (Wishes's viewing after dinner), Tusker House (been before change from counter to table service) and maybe Yak & Yeti
and this is the main question:
Food and Wine Festival Events-Which one or two can anyone recommend (from experience) as being worth the price?
We've enjoyed this festival on all our trips that included it but have never done any of the extras. Of course, the 7 year old would need to check into a kids club for a couple of hours but she's been to those before a couple of times. As far as general F & W interests me & DH enjoy many different types of food (don't know much about the "fancier" fare), wine likes are mostly reds, and DH is something of a beer connoisseur (while I'm more partial to the lighter tastes).
Any suggestions on a worthwhile event would be greatly appreciated and any yay or nay comments on our other New Things would be helpful.
Thanx
