Although I haven't ever used a package like this...Pam at Kingdom Konsultants books people all the time on these packages. She can advise you if the packages (and which ones) are worth the money. I would ask her...she is a sponsor on the boards here. Have a wonderful trip and I wish I could help you more.l

Several years ago (early 90s) I went to WDW with my parents and we had a package that was called the "Grand Plan" at the time. It provided 3 meals a day with a lot of other perks. My dad figured out that it we ate $500 worth of food during the entire time, we would break even on the cost of the package. At the end of the 5 days, he totaled up the receipts... and we'd eaten $1500 worth of food. So, if you're wise with your dining choices (i.e. take advantage of it by trying some of the nice sit down restaurants and get an appetizer, entree, non-alcoholic speciality drinks AND dessert- you don't have to eat it all!) then it can be valuable. We tried places on that trip that otherwise we would have never gone- and now some of those places are among my favorites.

Then, there were also the other options too- we didn't use many of those options but did rent a water sprite (that's what they were called then!) almost every day.

Now, I'm just hoping that in the near future I can treat my daughter to a trip like the one my parents gave me. Just remembering that trip makes me a bit nostaligic... that was the last time I went to WDW with my parents. I've been going with my DH ever since.

So, in brief summary (sorry for the long-windedness of the above)... if you take advantage of the benefits, it can be well worth the price!

ENJOY! :) :) :)
