LAKE BUENA VISTA (Eyes and Ears)-- Beastly Bazaar, the merchandise shop located next to the bridge into Asia at Disney's Animal Kingdom, now offers a variety of food and kitchen items.
"We basically took the building and turned it upside down," said Chad Taylor, area proprietor for Discovery Island East at Disney's Animal Kingdom. "Now it's about half [filled by] consumables that you can eat immediately, like candy and snack foods, and packaged items guests can take with them as gifts or for the trip home, like souvenir chocolate and candy tins, and coffee."

The second half of Beastly Bazaar offers a variety of kitchenware such as cookie jars, toasters, waffle irons, cups, aprons, oven mitts, towels, utensils, vases, candles and soap.

"So far, our guest response has been very positive," Chad said. "[Cast Members ranging from] the leadership team from Merchandise up to executives have commented that the store has a much cleaner, crisper look."
