I thought I jsut read that you have to register for this? Since when, I never heard anything about a special event, its open to everyone.

Am I missing something? Thanks :-)

It is open to everyone, but certain meals and dinners and parties and such are only a reservation basis only.

It's awfully complicated and almost everything is booked solid. I think Eeyore has the info on it all.. anyone wanna post a link?

Anyways, the demonstrations and wine tasting and food samplings are all free and no reservations as is the concert series.

Rob,

Thanks, I really had no idea. I assume they don't publicize it?

The Disney Dining Experience I was told about through friends, otherwise I would have never heard or known about it.

Thanks :-)

The gorumet zillion course dinners with Wine Pairings in special VIP lounges and done to "themes" are almost entirely sold by word of mouth amoung wine-lovers and sell out like within the first week fo availability. They also cost an arm and a leg.

Rob,

I'm down to 2 arms and legs, so I have none to spare.

I'm not realy big into food presentation, nor wine. So I'll just go with the masses and free route by walking the park :-)

I've seen those dinners, it's quite fancy yet quite strange. When I worked there in 2000, the most expensive dinners were located in the lounge at Wonders. It was the strangest setting. Pristine classes and dinnerware placed under a circus tent? To me, that's an awful pairing but that my opinion. Besides that dinner there was the one at Odysessy. Prepared by a famous chef and 'buffet' style if I recall. All I do know is that they may be pricey but they well worth the money.

Here's the price ranges (from 2000, may be higher now):
$60, $75, $125. The 125 dinner was the one held under the 'big top'. On a side note, there's a couple who made reservations for every single $125 dinner at WDW. Calculating with some math they spent a lot of dough. For a couple to go to 8 dinners at $125 a pop...thats $2,000! Yeowch  The couple were so well known that had thier own parking spot behind wonders, with that much money spent I'd hope so!!!
