Food and Wine Festival 2003 Thread

Well, its coming around to that time of year again. A time to travel the world in under an hour and sample the food and wine from areas all over the world.

Returning this year are the same countries from last year (Im not going to begin to name them all)

And of course, the Spain Pavilion, which was begun today, maybe they'll keep it there permenatly now... As well as the Wine shows next toe Morocco and France. And to top it off, the annual F&W concert series.

Do you have an pictures of the Spain Pavillion construction? I thought the Spain Pavillion was only done for last years Food & Wine? I guess they just disasembled last years Pavillion and stored it; I can't imagine them rebuilding it again each year. Maybe this will be a reacurring theme for the Food & Wine Festival; temporary Pavillions with different countries leasing the space for a couple of years. I'm sure it's a lot cheaper then putting in a Permanent country. Does any one know if the food is the same as last years too? I have a list of last years food & prices from the individual countrries.

Based on past experience, it will be similar but not exactly the same. receipes will change a little from year to year. Things that my not have sold well or guests didn't care for will get replaced by new items. Wine selections will also change.

And there are new booths added this year. They've added Colorful Eating, Great Beers of the World, Octoberfest, and South America.
