Food and Wine Buildings

I am wondering what they do with the Food and Wine Buildings when the festival is not happening.

I believe they store them in the Germany and/or Japan "show buildings" - which were built, but never used for rides.

Do they just leave the area where they are for the festival empty? or put other kiosks there?

Yes and no. Kiosks are trending to be up more and more each year. With Flower and Garden and Holidays Around The World now incorporating now, it's mostly the summer season you don't see any.

Last time I was at EPCOT was on Jan 14. The area they had setup for food and wine in morocco was still there. They just put up large planter walls and palm trees around the area. You could still see the light strings crisscross the lounge area.

They reuse them for minor things but, mostly they are left backstage..
