I see the peppers made it to the WSC Plaza this year instead of the entrance of the Mexican Pavillion!

The hottest chile (pepper) on the scale, is "Habanero" which grows in my State! yeay!! It´s the best and it doesn´t damage your stomach. :animwink:

...doesn't damage your stomach!...okay then it's got to be the mouth :lol:. Just the thought of touching one of those peppers freaks me out :lol: (as you can tell I don't take hot stuff very well)

We used to grow habanero peppers on our farm on Eastern Long Island several years ago (the farm is no more.. darn growth in New York!). Anyway.. these suckers ARE HOT.. DARN HOT! One of our workers accidently sat on one and the pepper oils irritated his tush. Then the poor guy wiped his fingers after messing with his butt cheek and then his eyes started to burn. He took the rest of the afternoon off and came in late to work the next day.

They probably make weapons out of these peppers for crowd control.
