Food an Wine Ticket and Date

On the main website page there is an article that states that the tickets are now on sale for all the F&W Events. (here) But everywhere else it says you canot buy tickets until 7/25 @ 7:00 AM (except fot the special F&W Package).

I called the F&W reservation number, and it has a recording that says the same, then hangs up on you.

So, my question is, is this changing. Should I start calling every once in a while, or just wait till 7/25? Is the news item mistaken?

Well the only "ticket" you need for select Food and Wine Festival events are tickets to Epcot, which are on sale, so the way it was written may be a little misleading.

ALL Food and Wine Events that required a Reservation will be availiable to book as of 7:00 am on July 25th by calling 1-407-WDW-FEST. This date/time has not changed.

If you call, you will have about a 1 in 800+ chance of getting ME! I will be one of many working overtime taking your reservation calls.

Thanks JP, that was my question too, was the news item misleading or not. The section that states, and I quote...

Reservations for the special events, which have limited availability and popular appeal, are now available at prices ranging from $35 to $185 per person.

Sure makes it sound like you can call right now doesn't it.

Just remember lots of the events are prepaid sand cost roughly $100 or more. So, have the credit card handy.

Yea, I know. We did lunch and learn last year. I'm looking to try the Party for the Senses this time around.
