Flying in and renting a car- who to get it from

Travelocity posts rental cars at half the price of Alamo and Enterprise. I’m thinking of using Advantage. Has anyone used the non-usual companies. $330 vs $550 for the same vehicle.

Sorry haven't used the other rental cars. We've use Enterprise a lot in the past. Sometimes Hertz. If you opt to join AAA, then I believe they give you discounts and benefits on Hertz, Dollar and Thrifty. You can also buy discounted tickets to the parks through AAA as well. And if you accidentally lock yourself out of your car, they'll come unlock you car. They also do roadside assistance which is wonderful as well! Happy traveling!

I flew into Sanford-Orlando and used Alamo! It was a quick and easy pick up at 1030pm! If you use Alamo, they price you pay is what is paid, and it also includes the taxes. There is no deposit required. Most other Rental Car companies requires a deposit EQUAL up to the same cost of the Rental Car! That's like paying double, and yes you get it released back, but I prefer to pay what I owe and not owrry about paying anything extra!

Check out Turo. I'd never heard of them until a coworker mentioned it. The prices (for us, anyway) are way less than the big rental agencies and you don't have to stand in line to pick up your car. LOTS of makes and models to choose from. We're doing a rental thru them starting next weekend.

Also, if you're flying into MCO, check out their Visitor Toll Pass. Free toll pass rental (vs $10/day from the rental car agencies) and you get discounts on tolls paid, too.
