Flower and Garden or Food and Wine

Hey everyone!

In finally getting around to cleaning out my old email address, I discovered that I have a 2 day park hopper ticket that is valid until around Halloween 2025. I refuse to let it go to waste, so I'm thinking about adding a day or two to the ticket, and taking my first solo Disney trip. With all of that said, I'd love to go during a festival, but I can decide on which.

I haven't been to Flower and Garden since the early 2000's, and Food and Wine since 2015. If you had to choose between one, which would you go far? As always, thank you all so very much for your help.😊

Flower and Garden! Epcot is gorgeous with all of the topiaries and floral displays. We also prefer the food booths at Flower and Garden - there are fewer of them and the food is lighter.

I mean who wouldn’t want to see this?

We’ve been to both. The F&G is beautiful but you must time it right. The best time is near the beginning weeks to have the most colorful flowering things. Near the latter weeks the beauty fades and isn’t as brilliant.
Both events have great food kiosks , some offer similar items. There are guest favorites that reappear each year.
Mostly are you interested in wines and the classes that you can take to help you appreciate the wines and pairing of food. Or just the beauty of the world showcase. F&W can be enjoyed even if you aren’t a wine drinker.
We go with F&G more for the time of year we can get away.

Hard decision. I love Epcot with all the flowers and love the break from winter, we used to go in mid March when everything is still brown and dreary in Maryland. Also love the weather in WDW in October

Since Covid, Food and Wine special events have not returned.

Thanks for the heads up. Right now, I'm thinking about either 2.24-2.28, 3.3-3.6, or 4.7-4.10. Any thoughts on those time frames?
