We have been in Florida for 8 years and we have had resident annual passes at Disney and Universal ever since we moved here. And before that we lived in So CA and were avid guests at Disneyland.

Welcome to the boards!
We have been FL residents for 12 years and have had the resident annual pass off and on since then. We are currently taking WDW break.

We started to get burned out too after 8 yrs so we got a Universal pass. But, we missed Disney so now we have both.

We miss it too but thought this was a good time for a break with all the construction.
We are only disappointed in Hollywood Studios. With all of that gone there isnt much to see now. We really miss the Osborne lights at Xmas. We used to go every year. We mainly just go now to the 3 other parks. We are also disappointed we cant seem to get into Pandora. The fast passes are always booked. I managed to get one fast pass on the water ride and after we got there it was closed for technical problems.
