Florida Resident Seasonal Pass

Have several visits planned for the next year, and I was thinking of purchasing a Florida resident seasonal pass for the first time, knowing that there are blackout dates during most or all of the summer.

My question, if I decide to visit during the blackout dates of the pass, can I upgrade to the Florida Resident Annual Pass and pay the difference between the cost of the two passes?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Sure can. But keep in mind it doesn't change the expiration date of the AP at all. So depending on when you upgrade, you might be paying the year's worth of difference for only a few months left of your pass. (Unfortunately, they don't pro-rate the price difference.)

The upside is that a full AP gives you free parking so it saves you $14 per day you visit. (Which can easily make up the difference in price pretty quickly if you go a lot.)
