Florida Resident AP Question?

Hi!

I don't post that much, but I love Disney and had a question about Disney World APs.

I'm going to be moving to Florida this fall for college, and will be living on-campus in a dorm. If I get a Florida Driver's License, is that all that is needed to be able to purchase Florida Resident APs or are there other things needed?

Thanks!

That's all that's needed. When you order your pass, you'll get a voucher in the mail. When you get to a ticket booth, present the voucher and your Florida ID and you should be all set.

btw the Weekday-only Florida resident annual pass is a terrific bargain at just over $200.

I'll have to look into that. I was looking more at the seasonal pass since that let's me in on the weekends too and doesn't include the summer and the month around Christmas, since I won't be in the state for that period.

I don't remember the price difference off-hand, but we don't generally mind not going on weekends anyway, because it's less crowded during the week. (Of course we miss Star Wars weekends, although you can catch those on Fridays, and most of the Epcot summer music appearances.) But we have fairly flexible schedules so it's easy to go on weekdays. They also don't include summer from roughly mid-June to mid-August and they have holiday black-out dates. We've found the price to be totally worth it.
