Has anybody used one? If so what do you think of it and would you reccommend it?

Thanks for the help.

Got it for free.

When I subscribed to Verizon Fios they gave it to me free. I love it. The only problem is I forget to use it. 2 years ago we spent July 3rd at MK the fireworks were incredible we were completely surrounded by fireworks. When it was ove I remember my Flip. The next night we were at Hollywood for the fireworks. This time I remembered. The video was great and so was the sound.
From then on my wife is in charge of the video and I'm in charge of the still photos. It's the least expensive version but it's really good. They also include a nice editing program. This is a link a video I did last year. http://www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=102953849733705 I put a couple together and added some back round music. It was my first try. Enjoy

The lack of image stablisation makes the footage a shaky mess. I believe that low cost camcorders with a stablizer are a much better bet.

I work for a large University and we have about a dozen of them that we loan out. The picture is good, but they are almost to simple to use. Not a lot options or adjustable setting. I prefer the Kodak product over the flip becuase you have the abilty to adjust quality and things like that.
The problem with both of the cameras are the way you hold them. It is not comfortable or natural for long periods of time. Your better off going with a palm style that has some more functionality.
