I ran across this today and wanted to share it.

I know footwear has been discussed on the boards before so I figured I'd add this tidbit.
I for one am against wearing flip flops at WDW. Not because of having to see feet, I don't care at all, I used to go barefoot in college all the time, keeping a pair of loafers or chucks in my backpack for meals. I still kick off my shoes and feel the grass between my toes when I'm at a local park or backyard.
But in daily normal life or at a crowded amusement park I'm against flip flops because I think they are bad for the feet longterm and are an invitation to getting a crushed toe, foot, or heel.
I personally alternate between my light hikers and running shoes while I'm touring.
