Are they here to stay, a dying breed, resurrected or other?
I mean, back in the early 90's it seemed like that and Virtual Reality were going to be the future of entertainment...from Star Tours to little mall versions, they seemed to pop up everywhere.
Then they suddenly were less popular and began disappearing. Now, though, we still have what could be a new Star Tours simulator coming out, the brand new Simpsons overlays of Back to the Future at Universal, the overwhelmingly popular Soarin' and the somewhat decent Mission:Space, although that's a bit unique.
So is the idea of the flight simualtor being a good attraction still reasonable if done a certain way?
Will we see a return of the more common types of simulators from before?
