Ride is not different enough to matter for what it is. I go with the one with a less queue and chaotic atmosphere which for my taste is Woody Woodpecker. Also the kinetic energy when all parts are working to me is more fun and the queue itself has some clever jokes and details.

Flying Unicorn would have won over both of them for me.

Okay. I voted for Hippogriff. They are both relaxing short coasters. I was able to get my girlfriend on both. (she really hates coasters)
I just enjoyed Hippogriff a little more.

I'd say Hippogriff for sure as well. The Buckbeak animatronic is impressive.

They both stink, but Woody (though outdated) looks like it's much more fun. Hippogriff seems like it's too crammed together in a small area, which causes it to have less wide turns.

Think my kids would say Woody. They were on both coasters when they were the right age for those. They seemed to have loved Woody for some reason.
