Flight of Passage standby queue at park closing

So I actually didn't know this until just now. If you get in line for FoP before park closing at 9pm, you still get to ride. It doesn't matter how long it takes.

So example:

It's 8:45pm and the standby queue is 3 hours or whatever. As long as you GET IN LINE before 9pm, they let you stay in the queue and ride even if it happens to be 12am before you get on. I saw a video where they talked about it and they asked a CM too.

So that's kinda nice. I thought as soon as 9pm came they closed it.

I mean I guess that's kind of cool if none of the other parks are open (which is happening more frequently now with the After Hours), but you are still waiting 2-3 hours in line. It seems like it would be much more efficient to just wake up early before rope drop and ride it that way.

Well at rope drop you also get put through the FP line so you do miss some of the rooms in the queue. I mean I guess it depends on what you like.

But what I like about this is we can leave, go have dinner at Jiko, then come back into the park and ride FoP again and view AK at night.
