Flight from OZ with a LO

Has anyone done the flight to DW from Australia with an under 2? How did it go? Am trying to figure out if we should stop in LA for a night or she will be ok to go straight to Orlando? She will be 20 mths.

I've never done it that way around (I've only flown to Orlando from the UK) but if your little one will be under 2 and therefore on your lap for the flight, I think you'll probably both need the break in LA! I went nuts having my (then) 13 month old DS on my lap for just a 2.5 hour flight to Portugal (although he is a wriggler!).

if you are doing as a lap baby, she and you will both want the break to be moving around. she might be upset when she sees the plane again. it will be a long time to sit on some ones lap without being down and moving. even if using carseat it will still be a long time to sit straped in and not up walking around
