Flexibility of "Magic" Passes??

Let's say I buy a'Magic Your Way' pass for 7 days. According to what I've read, the pass expires 14 days after its first use. So lets say I buy the $45 option to visit water parks & Pleasure Island, and I'm staying 9 days instead of 7. Midway through my trip, I choose to not visit a major park, and just go to a water park & back to my hotel to relax. Will this count as one of my 7 days, even though I didn't visit a major park?? And another thing, say I don't visit any parks one day, but I have purchased the meal option for 6 nights of my stay($35/day), and on a day I'm not visiting the parks, I choose to eat at say, Boma, to be paid for by my meal plan--is that possible??

I think the dining is going to be for the entire length of stay (for each night), but not positive on that.

If you have the 7 day ticket, you will get 5 plus visits (which will now include DisneyQuest). If you don't go to the parks, you won't have a visit to PI counted to your 7 days, but it will be one of the 5 plus visits you get.

Same thing for dining, you don't have to go to the park to use it.

Turkey is right -

1. dining options are for the length of stay and are added on to the Magic Your Way ticket.

2. The $45 upgrade for the water parks expires 14 days after the first use of the ticket.

3. The water park upgrade can be used as a seperate day from your 7 day pass or on the same day - either way you'll use just one of your ugrade days, and if you go into the park then you'll use one of your park days.

4. You can save your dining options for different days - for example: One day you might eat at two counter service restaurants and the next day you might eat at two sit down restaurants... this way you have more flexibility on your plan.

Brent is correct on all accounts. It is based as a per night for the dining. Plese keep in mind that for the signature restaurants and the dinner shows it will be 2 dining options for those.

For $35 a day for an adult you recieve a counter service meal, a table service meal and a snack. Jiko is considered a Signature meal so you would have to trade two table services for it but you still retain your counter service meals and snacks from the day. Hope that helps.

Thanks For the Info!

Thanks for all of your input! Regarding the list of participating restaurants, I found it on mousesavers.com--it's a PDF file. Two sit-down meal 'points' are needed for California Grill, Artist Point, Luau at Poly, Hoop De Doo Revue, Citricos, Narcooses's, Coral Reef, Alfredo's, etc. Most restaurants require only one sit-down 'point', like my favorites, Teppanyaki, Cinderella's Breakfast or Royal Table dinner, most Epcot restaurants, and all of the other character meals. And for the sit-down 'point' you get an appetizer, entree, dessert & non-alcohol bev!! What a deal!! You'll get you money's worth from the sit-down alone--the counter service meal & snack are just icing on the cake. The only problem will be all the weight we'll gain by eating like grazing cows for 7 days!! Oh, we obese Americans!!
