GOOD NEWS....Adventureland to open with the park everyday for now on. Jungle and Tiki will still open at 10.

Adventureland has been opening with the park since March 6th. But now its official.

Epcot Attraction Hours 5/18 & 5/19

Due to private events, some Future World attractions at Epcot will have the following closing times on May 18th and 19th:

Tuesday, May 18: Universe of Energy closes at 4:45pm

Wednesday, May 19: Living with the Land closes at 5:30pm

Wednesday, May 19: The Circle of Life closes at 5:30pm

Wednesday, May 19: Journey Into Imagination with Figment closes at 5:30pm

Snow White's Scary Adventures Hours 5/16

The May 16-22 Times Guide for Magic Kingdom lists Snow White's Scary Adventures as "closed for refurbishment" on Sunday, May 16th. This is incorrect.

DVC Preview Center at Saratoga Springs 5/14

On May 14, 2004, Disney Vacation Club will open its new preview center for membership sales. This state-of-the-art facility will be located at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa and will allow for up to double the current guest tour capacity.

At the new facility, guests will lean about Disney's innovative vacation ownership program through an entertaining and distinctly Disney tour experience.

All operations of the Disney Vacation Club sales center at Disney's BoardWalk Resort will transition effective on May 14, 2004, to the new facility at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa.

Travel Delays Due to Danskin Women's Triathlon 5/16

Due to the Danskin Women's Triathlon taking place in the Magic Kingdom resort area on Sunday, May 16th, PLEASE EXPECT DELAYS in traveling around the following areas from 6am to 10am.

Floridian Way- Road will be closed in both directions from Park 2 to the entrance of Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. From Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa to Seven Seas Drive, there will be one-lane traffic.
Seven Seas Drive- All traffic will be forced to turn into the Main Lot at the Transportation and Ticket Center to exit via World Drive if not visiting Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.
World Drive- Road will be closed from Seven Seas Drive to the Hess Station. There will be no access to the Daisy Gate.
Bear Island Road- Road will be closed in both directions from World Drive to the Security Kiosk at Disney's Animal Kingdom.

PotC and WDW RR do cross, as you go down the down ramp but before you enter the bombardment scene, you cross under the track, then when you are at the unload area, the train also crosses the track, a meer 20 feet away from the downramp crossing. When you are riding the train, you go through a short tunnel, just after the train blows its whistle, this tunnel seperates the upper and lower PotC show buildings.

So thats 2, including my example, TTA and Space.

Plus the Splash and WDWRR make 3.

PotC is the ''back up attraction'' for E-Rides. In the past, during rehabs of one of the nine attractions, would be open for the event. I have not heard one way or another if PotC will be open this year.

If I hear anything officail, I will let you all know.

What? Did you mean, What in the world DOES Flcm STAND for?

Its an abv. for my screen name, FLCastmember.

World Update is the name of the bi-monthly news letter distributed to resort guests, with info such as park hours, special events, ect....

Put them together, FLCM's ''world update'', and you have my version. I try to do these updates weekly, but it ends up being 2-3 per month.

Well since AE is closed it would seem that POTC would need to be opened. That certainly is odd.
