Flame Tree BBQ Review

Had to post this review because I was thoroughly impressed with the Flaming (oops...is it Flame?) Tree BBQ! We had a bad experience at the AK last year and never planned to go back. I went on a fam trip this year and opted to go back to AK one day with my parents and great-aunt because I was really tired and knew they would be taking it slow. I had a better experience because it was cooler and overcast that day and less crowded. We ended up all eating and meeting at FT. I had the smoked chicken salad in a tomato garlic flavored taco shell. It also had lettuce, tomatos, and ranch dressing. I'm a salad person and found this to be filling and delicious! My husband had the bbq chicken sandwich, which was huge and tasty. My mom and brother shared the ribs....oh my, to die for! All the meat is smoked there and just standing in line with the smells made us drool! All the seating is in back along the river/lake that is in Asia. It is shaded and cool...plus, if you get stuck in a down pour like we did, it's a good place to hang out until the rain subsides!

I highly recommend this place! Plus, you can use the meal voucher here. This is an excellent way to save at least 5 bucks! They are 10.99 and you get an entree and drink at participating restraunts, a bottle of water or soda, and an icecream sandwich or popcorn. My meal at FT alone came to over 8 bucks, so it is a good deal when you add another 5+ for the snacks.

Eww!

Boooooo!

I hated Flame Tree BBQ! Some of the worst food I've ever tasted! I am not a fan of BBQ, but their chicken is terrible too! I much rather prefer Rainforest Cafe, or the Tusker House @ AK.
