Flag Family @ WL

Has anyone ever heard of being the "flag family" at Wilderness Lodge? I have seen it on a couple websites and it looks fantastic!!

Apparently what happens is if you ask when you check into WL, you get to go with a castmember to the roof and participate in the morning flag raising. A picture is taken to remember the event. Sounds cool to me!!

Anyone participated? Or even heard of it?

Anything that has anything to do with getting up any earlier in the morning than I have to... I immediately cross of my list... LoL...

but it does sound neat!

Yes i've heard of this and it does sound like a cool experience! (and yes, it does involve getting up early)...i've seen it on some sites as well and it's apparently an awesome view of the lagoon and magic kingdom. You raise I think the wilderness lodge flag and a standard Disney flag. I'll be checking into the WL in exactly 9 days and our family plans on requesting doing this. I'll let you know how it goes!
