FL resident ticket question

Hey guys,
My brother and his family are FL residents. They got the FL res 3-day base park tickets (no hopping).

I'm hearing two different things about expiration. If they only use 2 out of 3 days on our upcoming trip, when does the 3rd day expire? 14 days later or 6 months later?

Also, is there an option for FL residents to add no expiration option? Doubt it but figured I'd ask.

Will call Disney but you guys are just as knowledgable (if not more!) ;-)

Fl resident 3-4 day tickets expire 6 months after December 17 2014, which ever comes first.

Special promotional Florida resident tickets like the current Discover Disney tickets will vary on their expiration date. The current tickets must be used by June 6 2014 and are subject to black out dates.

As far as I know, "No expiration" is not an option available on Florida resident tickets.
