FL Residency

We have a lot in Florida that we just purchased in the past year on the Gulf, and we will be building a house there soon enough. We obviosuly pay Florida taxes and all that jazz.

Is that enough to be a Florida resident to get the special discounted rates for Resorts? Or must we really "live" there year round?

What state is your driver's license issued? That's gonna be a big factor, but you might be able to take something else and show proof of land ownership. Very interesting question.

get a florida ID.. that's it. go to the DMV with your social security card and birth certificate, and pay the $20. That's the only way. Also, if you plan on keeping your DL, don't show them your out of state one, since they will keep it
