My family is traveling to WDW in August and staying at OKW resort. My brother wants to go fishing on property. I have most of the info but need to find out if on the Sunday we are there do they off the fishing excursions out of the Contemporary Resort and if so what are the times.

Fishing is offered at the following locations (times are shown also)...
-5 person expeditions in the Seven Seas Lagoon/Bay Lake area can be started at the Contemporary, Polynesian, Grand Floridian, Fort Wilderness or Wilderness Lodge Resort. Fishing Guides will pick people up at their resort.
-At 6AM and 9AM expeditions start from Downtown Disney. Guides will also pick up at Old Key West and Port Orleans. (These excursions accomadate 5 guests and are 2 hours long)
-Another excursion leaves Port Orleans Riverside at 6AM and 9AM and tours the Sassagoula River and Lake Buena Vista
-Trips depart from the Yacht and Beach Club and Boardwalk at 7AM and 10PM
-Dock Fishing is permitted at Port Orleans Riverside, Downtown Disney boat docks, The Boardwalk, The Disney Institute, and at Fort Wilderness.
-All expeditions include guide, gear, and refreshments
-Dock Fishing equipment can be rented for about 6 dollars and hour. Bait is also available for purchase.
-ALL WDW FISHING IS CATCH AND RELEASE. NO FISH MAY BE KEPT!!

Yo Man... try this... their is a kids fishing trip that leaves from Boardwald ....(at the Community Center).. it is $30 for a couple of hours for kids under 12....He takes up to five children and they stay in the canals and the lake between Swan/Dolphin and Boardwalk...The guide is named Bill and is very good with kids...my child had so much fun that she went two days in a row. Make reservations by calling WDW-PLAY and make sure that you specify the kids fishing trip that leaves from Community Hall at Boardwalk.
