Fishing?

Could you please post any experiences with fishing at POR? I believe they have a rent-a-cane pole fishing pond? Were you successful?

3 days and no replies...I'm disappointed and feeling rejected by the board.

I figure someone would at least tell me I'm wrong, clueless, or say wait until "so-and-so" read this because they will surely have some knowledge or experience.

Sorry - I don't know the answer to your question but will post anyway so you don't feel unloved I think one of the guidebooks talks about fishing on WDW - either Birnbaums or the Unofficial Guide. I do know it's catch and release.

My kids fished last year during our stay at POR. They had a wonderful time and caught many fish.

I was hoping to find out if it was catch and release. I couldn't imagine it any other way at disney - good.
