First visit in 2 years. What's new?

Going to the mouse for the first time in two years and haven't kept up to date as much as I would've liked. What do I need to know about?

I'm aware of the new fantasyland expansion, but not all the details.

What's with this fast pass plus? Do I need to know anything about it? Or is it the kind of thing where you only need to worry about it if you get invited to participate.

What's the deal with wifi in the resorts? Staying at caribbean beach resort.

Any other major changes?

Besides FLE I think the only things that has changed is Test Track and Star Tours... I think that's it. As for FFP, it shouldn't be operational during your visit.

Not much...

Obviously you know about the Fantasyland Expansion...and the Legend of Captain Jack Sparrow show/walkthru at DHS...aside from that, there are no actual 'new' attractions, unless you count the Test Track redo, Star Tours redo, or games like Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom...

As others have said, Fantasyland Expansion, Test Track redo, Star Tours redo, Legend of Captain Jack Sparrow walkthrough. The Art of Animation resort has opened recently too if you want to check that out.

As for the Fantasyland Expansion, there's a Little Mermaid dark ride, new double Dumbo, Enchanted Tales with Belle, rethemed Barnstormer, Casey Jr's Splash Zone, gift shops, etc. This opens to the public on December 6th along with the Test Track redo and Jack Sparrow walkthrough, I believe.
