First trip to TDR suggestions?

Thanks for this thread! The Genie announcements have made me cancel plans for a WDW trip next year. I have set my sites on a 2023 trip to Japan to finally experience TDR, as well as hit the Ghibli sites.

Good for you. Make sure you spend some time in Japan itself as well. Japan is an amazing country which touches your soul. Getting around is super easy and the language barrier isn’t any worse than a trip to Europe

Book ahead. I went 6 weeks post Fukushima and had no issue getting in through the Lawson's kiosks. I falsely thought that was doable again a few summers later and it was not.
